This is not a political post. Nope, it’s not. It’s a human post.
I always enjoyed Charlie Daniels’ “The Devil Went Down To Georgia.” The song is masterful storytelling (still wondering about the chorus) and Daniels shows his amazing musicianship in his fiddle-playing.
I couldn’t resist this.
The Devil called down to Georgia, he was looking for some votes to steal, he was in a bind cause he was way behind and Pence wouldn't take the wheel...
When he came across this woman eyeing him in a parking lot..
The Devil jumped on an old speed bump, and said "Woman let me tell you what... I guess you didn't know it but I run Georgia too, and if you care to take a dare, I'll make a bet with you...now you're a pretty good lawyer gal, but give the Devil his due, I'll bet a gavel of gold against your soul, cause my lawyers is better than you.."
The woman said "My names Fani, and it might be a sin, but I'll take your bet, you're gonna regret, 'cause this Black woman ain't giving in..."
